Lifeguarding

Our most popular service. As a Licensed Training Provider for the American Red Cross we are able to travel anywhere and provide a safe, enjoyable training experience. We provide all of the necessary training materials and equipment and have a proven track record of affordable, top quality sessions.

American Red Cross Lifeguarding provides participants the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies and to provide care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses until EMS personnel take over.

Participants who successfully complete this Lifeguarding course receive an American Red Cross certificate for Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED, valid for 2 years. This Blended Learning Course takes approximately 20 hours to complete in-person skills after a 7 hour online portion. Pre-requisites do exist. Instructor provides CPR manikins, AED training devices, whistles, gloves and resuscitation masks. Training location provides teaching space, pool, backboard and rescue tubes.

Waterfront Lifeguarding is an add-on module for camps that operate a waterfront/beachfront. This course supplements the basic Lifeguarding Course and should be pursued if programs are operating on ponds, lakes or rivers. This module takes approximately 5 hours to complete.

Lifeguarding Review is an abbreviated Lifeguarding course that reviews course information and allows practice of skills and knowledge before testing. Current certification in Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED is required or certificate may be up to 30 days expired to participate in this review course. Students who successfully complete this approximately 10 hour course will receive a certificate for Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED which is valid for 2 years.
