First-Aid/CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer: This course prepares participants to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children and infants and meets OSHA/workplace requirements. This course can be offered as a blended learning course including an online portion (2.5 hours) and an instructor-led classroom skill session (3 hours). It can also be offered completely in-person taking approximately 6 hours. Successful completion of this course earns the participant a 2 year certification.
Wilderness First Aid: This course teaches advanced skills to be used in emergencies when help from professional first responders may be far away. Based on the Boy Scouts of America Wilderness First Aid Curriculum and Doctrine Guidelines, this course aligns with OSHA’s Best Practices for Workplace First Aid Training Programs. Prerequisites: Must be at least 14 years old and hold a current adult CPR/AED certification. Course takes approximately 16 hours. Successful completion of this course earns the participant a 2 year certification.
